Massage therapy is a holistic approach to healing that involves the manipulation of soft tissues to relieve pain, reduce stress, and promote overall health and wellness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our Evidence Sport and Spine massage therapists work with patients of all ages and backgrounds, from athletes and weekend warriors to office workers and seniors. They help patients manage a wide range of conditions, including chronic pain, musculoskeletal disorders, stress and anxiety, and post-injury or <a href=\"https:\/\/momentumhealth.ca\/physical-therapy-services\/post-surgical-rehabilitation\/\">post-surgical recovery.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Massage therapists use various techniques to address their patient&#8217;s needs, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Swedish massage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deep tissue massage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Myofascial release<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trigger point therapy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sports massage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They also may incorporate complementary techniques such as stretching and range of motion exercises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to providing hands-on therapy, registered massage therapists work closely with their patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our registered massage therapists are trained professionals who specialize in the art and science of therapeutic touch.
