Breanne Lyons
(PT, BSc (Honours), MScPT, FDN Certified)
Musculoskeletal & Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Breanne completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Queen’s University in 2020 after obtaining her Bachelor of Science (Honours) from McMaster University in 2017. Breanne provides individualized physiotherapy for muscle and joint concerns and pelvic floor conditions, using a combination of hands-on manual therapy, shockwave, dry needling, customized exercises, ergonomic modifications, taping, and other techniques based on each patient’s unique needs and health goals.
Breanne has completed advanced training in pelvic floor rehabilitation and treats both men and women. Common conditions she sees include bowel and bladder incontinence, menopausal changes, painful intercourse, abdominal separation (diastasis recti), constipation, pre- and post-natal conditions, pelvic organ prolapse, and chronic pelvic pain. She takes an evidence-informed approach to rehabilitation that emphasizes a whole-body approach to addressing the underlying issue and reducing the risk of recurrence.
In addition to pelvic health, Breanne has treated a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and is particularly experienced with hypermobility, chronic pain, tendinitis, and nerve entrapments.
When not in the clinic, Breanne enjoys multi-day backpacking across challenging terrain, running with her dog, going on motorcycle trips, and playing board games with friends.
