Our multidisciplinary clinic has multiple private rooms, a dedicated gym area and an open rehab space. We have a large referral base from family medicine and allied health professionals throughout Central Calgary and are always working on new partnerships. The clinic offers innovative programs such as GLA:D Back, GLA:D Hip & Knee as well as collaborative care with Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, and other disciplines all in-house!
Exceptional patient service, collaborative care and continued growth and improvement are highly valued at Momentum Health. We are presently seeking a Part-Time enthusiastic Kinesiologist to join our dynamic team and run various group classes. The successful candidate must be able to commit to at least a one-year term. Experience delivering programs such as GLA:D and AHS group classes is an asset. As our class offerings expand, this position has potential for growth.

Qualifications:
- Degree in Kinesiology
- Excellent knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Previous volunteer or work experience in a Physiotherapy or Multidisciplinary clinic an asset
- GLA:D and group program class experience

Responsibilities:
- Prescription, application, supervision and education of patient’s Therapeutic Exercise Programs including: AROM, PROM, stretching, proprioception, coordination, balance and strengthening
- Assist Physiotherapy assessments and re-evaluations
- Learn and administer several hands-on treatment techniques including basic trigger point release, MRT, Instrumented Soft Tissue Release, Friction massage and hold relax stretching
- Application and removal of modalities including heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS, IFC, micro-current and Muscle Stimulation
- Assisting with clinic up-keep such as laundry, cleaning patient beds, filling ultrasound gel, and cleaning machines and tools
- Greet patients and ensure they have a comfortable experience in the clinic
