Missing work due to injury hurts both employees and employers!
Ergonomic Assessments can be a simple integration to a workplace health & safety plan to help prevent injury and absence.
Don’t lose out to preventable injuries!
You can get an ergonomic assessment for an individual or entire team, whether in person or virtually, based on your needs and work location.
What Does an Ergonomic Session at Momentum Health Look Like?
A licensed clinician will conduct a thorough assessment of your workstation, including your chair, desk, computer setup, lighting, and any tools you use regularly. We’ll observe your posture, movement patterns, and how you perform your tasks.
Based on our evaluation, we’ll provide you with a customized report detailing specific recommendations to optimize your workspace ergonomics.
This may include:
- Equipment modifications: Suggesting adjustments to your chair, desk height, monitor position, keyboard and mouse placement, etc.
- Postural guidance: Teaching you proper posture techniques and stretches to reduce strain.
- Exercise prescription: Recommending exercises to strengthen muscles and improve flexibility, tailored to your needs.
- Work habit modifications: Advising on changes to your work routine, such as taking regular breaks, varying tasks, and incorporating movement throughout your day.
- Ongoing Support: We’ll work with you to implement the recommendations, providing ongoing support and follow-up assessments to ensure your workspace continues to promote comfort and prevent pain.
