(MPT, BSc, IMS Certified, Bilingual)

Bilingual (Francais, English)

Marie-Pier graduated from the bilingual University of Ottawa with a Master of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy, after completing her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the Faculté Saint-Jean of the University of Alberta. Since graduating, Marie-Pier has completed her Dry Needling certification, Part A of the McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy method, which aims at addressing certain low back injuries, and is currently immersed in advanced manual therapy courses offered by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, solidifying her expertise in treating complex musculoskeletal issues.

She has gained clinical proficiency working with shoulder, low back, and knee injuries, with a particular interest in rotator cuff-related injuries. Her personal experience as a competitive ice hockey player allows her to connect with athletes, both recreational and competitive, guiding them back to their sport with a deep understanding of the demands involved. For lasting recovery, she utilizes a comprehensive approach, combining manual therapy with personalized exercise programs tailored to each patient’s needs. Marie-Pier’s care extends to pediatrics. She can assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions in infants and toddlers, such as torticollis, plagiocephaly, muscular imbalances, gait training and milestone development. She empowers parents by teaching them how to facilitate healthy motor development and reflex integration at home, promoting optimal growth and preventing future challenges.

When she’s not at the clinic, Marie-Pier embraces an active lifestyle. She cherishes time with her family, enjoys caring for her bunnies, and finds joy in outdoor activities like jogging, hiking, skating, and downhill skiing.
