(MScPT, BKin, IMS Certified)
Yeon Soo is a Physiotherapist with a strong foundation in biomechanics, rehabilitation, and exercise-based care. She completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta after earning her Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary.
She has a strong clinical interest in orthopedics, sports injuries, and neurological rehabilitation, with a particular interest in supporting the running community. As an avid runner herself, Yeon Soo enjoys helping individuals recover from injury, return to the activities they enjoy, and work toward their performance goals. She continues to expand her clinical skills through ongoing education in orthopedics, dry needling, and running-related rehabilitation.
Her treatment approach is patient-centered, evidence-informed, and goal-driven. She combines manual therapy with progressive exercise prescription and incorporates Pilates-based principles to improve core control, movement efficiency, strength, and overall function.
Born in South Korea and raised in Calgary, Yeon Soo values the diverse experiences that have shaped her. She strives to create a welcoming and supportive clinical environment and is fluent in both English and Korean, allowing her to provide care to a broader range of patients.
Outside the clinic, Yeon Soo enjoys running, Pilates, strength training, and reading. She also appreciates a good post-run café stop almost as much as the kilometres logged.
