Dr. Emily Nicol

(DC, BSc, ART®)

Dr. Emily Nicol was born and raised in Kelowna before moving to Victoria after high school, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria. While she loved studying science and environmental conservation, she quickly knew that working with others was her aspiration.

During her time at UVic, Emily competed on the varsity golf team, representing the university nationally and internationally and serving as the women’s team captain in her final year. Her interest in health and working with others eventually led her to Portland, Oregon, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, graduating cum laude.

Dr. Emily takes an evidence-based, diversified approach to care that includes manual therapy, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM), Active Release Technique (ART®), and the Activator Method. She is also Webster certified, providing prenatal chiropractic care, and enjoys working with pediatric patients. She believes chiropractic care is about more than treating a single condition, with a focus on supporting overall wellness and a healthy lifestyle.

Since moving to Calgary, Dr. Emily has continued to develop her skills professionally, volunteer within the community, and embrace life as a weekend warrior through a variety of seasonal sports.
