Physiotherapist Aide & Medical Office Administrator (Part-Time) – Seton Location, Calgary, AB

Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Calgary, AB

Momentum Health Seton is hiring for a Part-Time Physiotherapist Aide & Medical Office Administrator job in Calgary, AB, and we’re looking for someone who can move comfortably between the front desk and the treatment area. Some days will lean more administrative, others more clinical, so this role suits someone who’s genuinely energized by variety rather than a fixed routine. Required hours are Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, with a start date as soon as possible.

A Culture Built on Five Core Values

Momentum Health runs on five core values: simplicity, independence, compassion, communication, and fun. In practice, that means streamlined intake processes so the clinical team can stay focused on patient care, an open-door culture where ideas for improvement are genuinely welcomed, and a team that shows up for each other with staff events and community volunteering alongside the clinical work. As part of a large, multidisciplinary clinic with a strong referral base across the Calgary area, you’ll see firsthand how physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, kinesiology, athletic therapy, physiatry, and sport medicine work together toward the same patient outcomes.

This is also a clinic that invests in people who want to grow. Staff regularly job-shadow across disciplines to learn how the different roles connect, and administrative staff have access to tuition reimbursement for courses and personal development, so the role can be a genuine stepping stone rather than just a job. It’s also a clinic with a track record of promoting from within, so the connections you build here can shape where your career goes next.

A Role That Spans Two Worlds

On the administrative side, you’ll greet patients and visitors, coordinate the flow of clients and information across the multidisciplinary team, maintain patient files, manage referrals, and handle third-party, MVA, WCB, AHS, and private billing. On the clinical support side, you’ll help patients through therapeutic exercise programs, assist with physiotherapy assessments, learn hands-on techniques like trigger point release and friction massage, and apply modalities such as heat, ice, ultrasound, and TENS. It’s a wonderful opportunity to build relationships with physiotherapists, chiropractors, and registered massage therapists, all in the same building.

This role is a one-year commitment, and the clinic is looking for someone serious about a career change into healthcare administration and clinical support, not just a short-term placement. In exchange, you’ll get mentorship opportunities and a genuinely social team, with two annual organizational events and plenty of smaller clinic get-togethers throughout the year. It’s a role that rewards initiative — the kind of person who notices what needs doing and does it, rather than waiting to be told.
