Miki Hidaka
(Dr. Ac)
Miki has been dedicated to supporting health and well-being since moving to Canada from Japan in 2008. She began her career as a yoga instructor, developing a strong foundation in movement, breath, and body awareness.
Observing the needs of students with chronic pain, injury, and stress inspired her to expand her expertise in manual therapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her practice integrates multiple modalities, including acupuncture, electroacupuncture, motor point needling, Acutonic therapy, cupping, and gua sha, combined with muscle testing and manual therapy to address chronic pain, musculoskeletal dysfunction, chronic injuries, migraines, insomnia, and emotional imbalances. She focuses on balancing the body’s physical and internal systems to support optimal function and enhance the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
Miki’s primary goal is to reduce chronic pain, restore movement, and help patients regain strength and freedom in their daily lives, returning to the activities, exercise, and routines they enjoy most.
