Karen Originally is from Winnipeg, MB. Her family moved to Calgary in 1994 for a brighter future. Karen is fluent in ASL, PSE and SEE sign language and is deeply rooted in her deaf culture background. Karen was born and raised by deaf mute parents, and has been an advocate for equality and accessibility for the deaf. She has come to us with valuable experience in patient care, Passionate about creating positive experiences through empathic, people-focused support, and takes pride in building meaningful connections for those in her care.
Known for being energetic, adaptable, and team-oriented, Karen brings a strong work ethic and genuine passion for helping others to every role she takes on.
During the summer months, Karen enjoys spending her free time outdoors and near the water whenever she gets the chance.
