Miranda Stang

(CAT(C), BAET)

Miranda’s passion for Athletic Therapy began while volunteering with the Kamloops Broncos Football team in high school, which lead her to immediately apply for Camosun College’s Bachelor in Athletic and Exercise Therapy program. After being accepted early into the program and beginning her path to where she is today, the passion only grew.

Miranda worked with the varsity women’s volleyball team at Camosun, and the Castaway Wanderers Rugby Club while completing her school practicum. She also got the opportunity to work with the men’s Rugby Canada athletes right before heading to the 2021 South Korea Olympics.

Once her schooling in Victoria BC was completed, Miranda moved to Calgary to continue finding her path in the Athletic Therapy industry. Since living to Calgary Miranda has worked with many sports associations including Okotoks Minor Hockey, the Calgary Rams rugby club, the Foothills Eagles Bantam Football team and many more. She is now the Athletic Therapist for the Rocky Mountain Raiders U18AAA team during their regular hockey season.

Miranda loves being around sports, athletes and the athletic community. She prides herself in not just focusing on one concern but the entire body to truly get to the root problem patients may be experiencing.

On her off days Miranda enjoys being active and artistic, she has a love for crafty activities and going for walks with her dog Sachimo and her fiance.
