Kristen Hunter

(MPT, BKin)

Kristen’s passion for rehabilitation began after sustaining an ACL injury as a minor soccer player, giving her firsthand experience with the impact physiotherapy can have on recovery. She earned her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta in 2015 after completing her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary in 2012.

Kristen has worked in a variety of physiotherapy settings and has a special interest in vestibular, concussion, and orthopedic rehabilitation. She has completed additional training in dizziness, balance, and concussion assessment and treatment, and has been certified by the University of Pittsburgh as an Advanced Vestibular Physical Therapist. This training allows her to assess and treat individuals experiencing dizziness, balance challenges, and vestibular-related concerns. She also uses Frenzel goggles to support assessment of more complex vestibular conditions.

Kristen has completed Level II and III Upper certifications through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulation program. Her treatment philosophy is grounded in research, exercise, and individualized one-on-one care to help patients achieve meaningful recovery.

Outside the clinic, Kristen enjoys curling, golfing, and chasing her family around the playground.
