
Tanielle Garcia

Tanielle Garcia earned her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan in 2010. She completed her undergraduate Honours degree in Kinesiology from the University of Regina in 2008, where she also played on the women’s hockey team and received the Academic All Canadian scholarship.
Since moving to Calgary in 2010, Tanielle has worked in multi-disciplinary clinics and has been a research clinician in sport-related concussion studies at the University of Calgary since 2012. This role allowed her to work with and learn from leading concussion researchers. She holds advanced post-graduate certification in vestibular and concussion rehabilitation and is certified as an Advanced Vestibular Physical Therapist by the University of Pittsburgh. Additionally, she has Level III certification in manual therapy and is certified in dry needling (IMS).
Tanielle focuses on treating patients with vertigo, dizziness, headaches, and neck pain from various causes, including concussions, BPPV, vestibular neuritis, migraines, balance disorders, whiplash, and posture-related problems. Her extensive training and experience enable her to assess complex cases and provide evidence-based treatment options.
Early in her career, Tanielle volunteered in Botswana, Africa, implementing fall prevention and posture awareness programs in underserved communities. This experience underscores her dedication to promoting a healthy lifestyle, preventing falls, and enhancing her patients’ quality of life.
Outside of work, Tanielle enjoys spending time with her family and friends and coaching her children in sports.
