Eva Olafson
(MScPT, BSc )
Eva graduated with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. After completing her undergraduate degree, she began working as a Kinesiologist at Momentum Health Westbrook, where she developed a deep appreciation for rehabilitation and patient care. This experience allowed her to gain valuable insights into helping clients achieve their fitness and recovery goals, which motivated her to pursue her master’s degree. Now back at Westbrook, Eva is excited to apply her skills in exercise prescription and manual therapy to support her patients on their recovery journeys.
Growing up in Calgary, Eva spent a lot of time on the slopes, which eventually led to her competing as a high-performance alpine ski racer. After many years and a couple of knee surgeries, she made the difficult decision to retire from racing. Having had personal experience with injuries, she empathizes with patients navigating their own rehabilitation journeys and understands the dedication it takes to recover.
In her free time, Eva enjoys traveling, skiing, golfing, playing pickleball, practising yoga, and spending time with friends and family.
